## What I Actually Tested (Hands-On)

### ✅ Already Working
1. **Apify** - Google Maps Email Extractor
   - **Result:** BEST for discovery. 7 batches → 1,440 companies found
   - **Cost:** $5.53 (exhausted free tier)
   - **Data:** Company name, website, phone, email, address
   - **Accuracy:** ~85% have websites, ~35% have emails
   - **Verdict:** 🏆 Best cost/volume for finding NEW companies

2. **Airscale.io** - Company/people finder  
   - **Result:** 200 companies imported successfully
   - **Status:** Ready to enrich (haven't hit "Enrich" button yet)
   - **Best for:** Finding contacts at companies we already have
   - **Verdict:** Good for enrichment, not discovery

### ✅ Signed Up Successfully
3. **UpLead** - 7-day trial
   - **Signup:** ✅ Gmail accepted, email verified
   - **BUT:** Requires credit card to activate trial
   - **Auto-charges $890/year** after 7 days if you don't cancel
   - **Features:** NAICS/SIC filtering, 160M contacts, 95% accuracy claim
   - **Verdict:** ⚠️ Promising but credit card wall + expensive auto-renewal

   - **Signup:** Form filled but submit blocked (likely CAPTCHA)
   - **Accepts:** Gmail, no corporate domain required
   - **Free tier:** 50 lifetime credits (not monthly)
   - **Verdict:** Limited free tier, opaque pricing, mixed reviews on accuracy

### ❌ Blocked
5. **Apollo.io** - Free tier
   - **Email signup:** "Please sign up with a corporate domain" (Gmail rejected)
   - **Google OAuth:** Shows "inactive user" dialog, creates new account option
   - **BUT:** Still redirects to signup requiring corporate email
   - **Verdict:** Needs corporate email (jonny@jonnyshannon.com or postharvest.com)

6. **Lusha** - 70 credits/month free
   - **Gmail:** Accepted in form
   - **Google OAuth:** Triggered dashboard glimpse but didn't complete
   - **Phone field:** Tricky international validator
   - **reCAPTCHA:** Blocked automated submission
   - **API:** Supports NAICS filtering (493120) — very relevant
   - **Verdict:** Worth completing signup manually. Best NAICS targeting.
